Genetic Technologies and the Jewish Community with Author Bonnie Rochman and the Sarnoff Center

How are genetic technologies shaping the Jewish community? From screening to beat Tay-Sachs to shielding ourselves from cancer, genetic technologies are changing the way we think about inherited disease – and inspiring ethical, legal and social debates about the decisions we make to protect our health and the health of future generations. Bonnie Rochman, award-winning author of The Gene Machine, and genetic counselor Rebecca Wang, MS, CGC, will explore the relationship between a new frontier of genetic technologies and our families and community at large.
